To install BionX PL 350HT, PL 250HT and older BionX kits on bikes with non-vertical dropouts.
BionX axles have a notch on the non-drive side that indicates the orientation of the pedal force sensor. This notch must point directly down at the ground (within 10 degrees) to accurately read your effort and eliminate "ghost" signals. This tool allows you to pull the axle counter rotation collar and orient the axle key to the angle of the dropout, and the notch vertically.

(Note: This tool is not required for the BionX SL 350HT Electric Bike Conversion Kit, which uses angle-specific Torque Blockers .)
