The BionX Torque Blocker is an axle washer that correctly orients the notch on the BionX axle. For BionX SL 350HT Electric Bike Conversion Kits only.
If you have non-vertical dropouts on your bike, you will need to select the torque blocker with the angle appropriate for your dropouts.
Unlike the previous BionX® motors, the SL motors do not have a pressed on torque blocker. The new version is slotted, and does not require the use of a puller to remove or reposition. The BionX Limited Edition SL XL kits will all include the standard 27° torque blocker.
The new SL motors, like the original G1 BionX motor, require that the axle notch be oriented in the 6 o'clock position for the torque sensor to function correctly. If the axle notch does not point in the 6 o'clock direction, alternate collars can be ordered from Bike Tech Shop.
